Talking Spaces
Talking Spaces is a collection of conversations, stories and readings that engage with the complexities of making cities. The audio-resources are produced by the Institute of History and Theory of Architecture and the City (GTAS) at the TU Braunschweig. They complement the institute’s teaching, but may be interesting for listeners worldwide.
In his collection of texts "An Apartment on Uranus", author, philosopher and curator Paul B. Preciado engages with questions on political, cultural, and sexual transitions.
In the excerpt, read by Licia Soldavini, sociologist and urban practitioner at the institute GTAS, Preciado reflects on the movements Nuit debout in Paris and Silent University in Athens. It was written in 2016 when both movements were fighting for self-determination.
